Happy Easter!

Easter with kids is FUN! We had a great day. We talked to the boys some last night about the Easter Bunny coming to our house. We set out their empty baskets before they went to bed and told them he would leave them something during the night.

They were SO excited when they got up and saw what he gave them. They got new movies, beach towels, books, etc. Sam's favorite things were the eggs with "Bid Dave's" money in them. Will's favorite was, obviously, the candy. He literally stared shaking when he realized one of the eggs had a Tootsie Roll in it. On a sweet note, Sam opened an egg with two Smarties in it. He said, "Oh, two! Here, Will."

A big thing happened at church this morning, too. Will usually gets a little upset when I leave. When Nana Marge came in the class this morning, he instead starting pushing me out the door. "Be right back, Mommy. Be right back." A leap for us!

After church, we spent the entire afternoon and evening with the Helmses. It was wonderful! We almost always have somewhere to be or something we have to get done. Today, that was not the case. Instead we ate, played, hunted eggs, napped, ate again -- whatever we wanted -- until the non-nap-taking boys absolutely had to leave.


The boys are getting the hang of hunting eggs. Sam would take the eggs he found and immediately re-hide them, so Will ended up with most of them.


Mid-afternoon the boys, Ca and I headed out to CVEsse to get Sam some "Bam-Daids". We ended up at Wal-Mart getting Curious George. Luckily, Sam had hurt his finger earlier in the day, so he didn't have to wait to use them. He immediately opened them and put one on his finger "himchelf". What a mess!
